A case study is an in-depth analysis of a single person. Case studies are often used in
clinical settings to increase understanding of predisposing factors and to explore potential
treatments. They provide a very detailed description of the person and make links to
theory and research as necessary. In this course, you will be describing a real person (e.g.,
actor, musician, athlete, or personal acquaintance), a character from a television show,
movie, or book, or someone you have made up for this assignment. I am doing Cory Monteith!
