They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.” The phrase is the call to adapt armory into farming utensils. Joel (3:7-12 NIV) states, “Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare for war! Rouse the warriors! Let all the fighting men draw near and attack. Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears.” The phrase is the call to adapt farming utensils into an armory.
The Bible teaches us to assert unchanging truth in modern ways (Ballenger, 2017). Technology is a foundational tool for communication when serving God. God brings proper growth through technology and innovation (Ballenger, 2017). The two prophetic texts help with technology cross-fields using technological waves and growth with intelligent individuals looking to make things better and adapt by using technology and solutions from their ideas (Bergman, 2018). Our society embraces new technology and has extensively influenced all aspects of our personal, professional, and social lives (Li et al., 2019). The efforts of cross-field research have broadened the horizon and brought together scientists, chemists, applied and theoretical physicists and electrical engineers, designing state-of-the-art manufacturing methods or reviving present materials for brand-new applications for next-generation technology (Li et al., 2019).
