Problem statement (1-2 pages)
This is the same problem statement that you started to develop in module 1. It includes a K-12 education related problem or phenomenon that can be supported with the literature.
Support any claims made with the resources you have gathered. When highlighting these resources, paraphrase (do NOT quote) the findings and conclusions that were drawn which support the claims that you are making.
You MUST include in-text citations throughout this section in APA format.
Research question(s) (1 paragraph)
Bullet point the research question(s) that your paper will explore.
Arguments (5-7 pages)
Discuss your main arguments by responding to your research questions and highlighting what was found in the literature.
When discussing the empirical research articles you have gathered, summarize the following in a few sentences:
What were the researcher(s) arguments
How did they explore these arguments – discuss the study that was conducted. Discuss HOW the study was conducted, whether it collected qualitative, quantitative, or mixed types of data
Summarize the findings.
You MUST include in-text citations throughout this section in APA format.
Conclusions (1 page)
Summarize your paper’s findings and provide recommendations on what should happen next in order to address the problem you presented at the beginning of your paper. You don’t need a thorough review of literature in this section, but you MUST support any claims made with the literature/resources you have found. You MUST include in-text citations throughout this section in APA format.
Note – You MUST use the framework above when writing your paper. Please do NOT add a section in your paper with a subheading “Review of Literature” – instead, simply use the information in your review of literature template to further explain the research you have cited.
In total, your paper must be at least 8 pages long (NOT INCLUDIcixNG TITLE AND REFERENCE PAGES)
