What is the structural organization of your database?

Choose a database. Be sure the database you choose is health related. You will use this database for all projects in this course.

INSTRUCTIONS
Once you have chosen your database, use the information to create a spreadsheet and prepare a 34-page paper.

For your paper, begin with an introduction: How is information collected, organized, scrubbed, coded, and entered into the healthcare information system? Be sure to answer the following questions as well:

Use the following questions to guide your database analyses paper:
1. What is the structural organization of your database?
2. What is the survey population description?
3. What is the definition of pre-intervention?
4. Define a database record. How many records are in your database?
5. Define a database field. How many fields are in your database?
6. Define a database field data definition (DD). What is an example in this database of a DD?

Based on the data collected, what is the purpose and potential use of the database survey data?
Summarize your findings from the perspective of an informatician by discussing the databases key structural components, its organization, and potential uses. Give reasons and examples in support of your responses. Your paper must be 34 pages, not including your pivot tables, charts, etc. This information must be presented as an appendix with a reference page of at least 3 scholarly sources in current APA format.
