Ethics Feedback
1. Periods and citations go before the quotation marks in direct quotes.
2. Citation goes before the period in paraphrasing.
3. Anytime you assert something to be true research shows or officials belie you need a citation to back it up.
4. When one study cites another study, you have to go find the original study and cite that. Dont say Spencer says(Smith, 1999). You need to cite the original source.
5. I shouldnt have to keep saying this one: quote sparingly. Quotes of 4+ lines are single spaced, indented, and do not have quotation marks.
6. Examples of a nice strong intro:

On paper, the criminal alien program appears to work as an aid to reduce the number of violent criminals in American correction facilities that entered the country illegally by deporting them to their birthplace. The reality of the program presents several unethical dilemmas with little to no tangible data that proves that the program is working the way its intended. (Isaiah Durant)

Much of the critique surrounding the Three Strikes Law pertains to the ethical issues that have arisen from wrongful convictions, lifetime sentences for small crimes, and the debate as to whether the Three Strikes Law truly reduces the amount of crime committed. (Chris Lennear)

After the Three Strikes Law was put in motion many started to question if the practice was just. Michael Molaire

7. Do not end sentences or phrases with prepositions
