Using the map found at this link, http://racialdotmap.demographics.coopercenter.org explore at a variety of scales the location of different ethnic groups in the United States. At two different scales, (national, state, county, city) describe the spatial distribution of an ethnic group and hypothesize why the ethnicity you choose is located where they are at that scale.

I would suggest starting with a place you are familiar with so you can connect what is shown on the map with what you “know” about that place. Make sure that your hypothesis are intellectually strong and aren’t stereotypical in nature.
