Using the rubric as your guide, review a schools School Improvement Team plan. Summarize
and reference the elements of the current plan. Link the goals and objectives of the current
school improvement plan to the most recent assessment scores. (ILA Standard 3.3)
Part Two: Evaluate School Improvement Team Committee Meeting
Attend a School Improvement Team Committee meeting and summarize the discussion, based
on the linkages of the activities to the schools assessment results. Analyze the outcomes of the
meeting for support of the assessment needs. (IRA Standard 3.3)
Part Three: Suggest Activities for School Improvement
Describe activities that can be completed by the team to improve student learning outcomes in
these three areas. Propose activities that could contribute to the overall improvement of the
school, based on assessment results. Reflect upon other activities that you personally think would
benefit the students and why you think so. Share your findings with the school team. (IRA
Standard 3.4)
