For this assignment, you will visit. https://www.usatoday.com/opinion/. at USAToday.com and select an opinion editorial (op-ed) published within the past 3 months. There is no need to subscribe to USA Today for this assignment. The editorials to choose from are labeled with Opinion in front of the writers name. Once you have identified an opinion piece for this analysis, insert the URL link to the editorial at the top of a Word document along with the title and date of publication. In the same document, prepare a 3- to 4-paragraph analysis of the rhetorical strategies employed by the opinion writer. Use the Week 3 Learning Materials to support your claims with citations in APA format. Be sure to include a full References list of all sources cited to support your analysis. (If formatting references in APA style is new for you, be sure to use the Week 3 Optional Resources for assistance.)
Ensure that your analysis is presented cohesively with a clear organizational structure that offers quality flow, coherence, and unity. The analysis of the opinion piece should also address key rhetorical aspects including the following:
Your claim as to whether the writers persuasive writing is effective or ineffective with supporting illustrations
The opinion writers claim, point of view, and rhetorical stance
The rhetorical situation
Any rhetorical appeals used
Other persuasive strategies or techniques used
