Paper Details
Section 1
This section entails a description of the topic, a problem statement, and two sources to support the problem statement. The problem statement is the most important statement of the paper. A problem statement is a statement of the problem that exists within a topic. This statement drives the research assignment as all writings of the research will reflect back to it. Therefore, the problem statement must be clearly stated in this section of the paper.
Therefore, the heading of this section should be Section I: Description of the Issue. The heading must be centered at the top of the page below the page number (stated in the top right corner of the page).
Section 1 consists of 2 paragraphs. The 1st paragraph states (a) the topic, (b) the issue, (c) one reason (cause) for the issue and (d) the problem statement as to how it affects the economy. This paragraph must be written according to the sequence provided above as it makes sense from the readers perspective.
The 2nd paragraph must provide two different sources that provide support for the problem statement. Sources are people who have written and published papers about the selected topic and problem statement. Therefore, the sources must agree with the problem statement. You must provide a connection to the literature (sources) and your problem statement.
Section 2
The second section of the RPA is a description of how the issue affects the economy. This section consists of 3 paragraphs. The first paragraph is a re-statement of the description of the topic and problem statement from the first paragraph in section 1. Copy and paste this paragraph as the first paragraph of chapter 2.
The second paragraph describes how the problem affects the economy. In other words, describe how the issue affects consumers (demand), businesses (supply), and the economy in this order.
The third paragraph provides additional 1 source support the description from the 2nd paragraph. In other words, the source agrees with the description of how the issue affects the economy.
Section 3
The third section of the RPA is a description two government strategies used to affect the issue. This section consists of 3 paragraphs. The first paragraph is a repeat of how the issue affects the economy from the second paragraph in section 2. Copy and paste this paragraph as the first paragraph of section 3. The second paragraph describes the first government strategy. In other words, describe what the government is doing about the issue. This paragraph should state the strategy, describe the purpose, and describe how the strategy affects the issue in this order. The third paragraph describes the second government strategy. In other words, describe what the government is doing about the issue. This paragraph should state the strategy, describe the purpose, and describe how the strategy affects the issue in this order.
