BACKGROUND:
The Department of Homeland Security has the responsibility of protecting the Nations infrastructure and has promulgated the National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP).
The development of specific industry or sector plans is shared by groups of committees, consisting of both government and industry representatives. Cyber issues are shared amongst several of these Sector organizations and other government agencies.
ASSIGNMENT:
For this Assignment:
1)Describe the cyber component of the NIPP.
2)List and describe the responsibilities of Sector-Specific organizations. (the 16 sectors, briefly)
3)Identify at least 3 federal agencies with a cyber protection/security responsibility.
