You will be asked to complete a final paper describing a theoretical orientation that you favor. For this paper, please choose one theory and describe the basic concepts and history (i.e., who developed it, when was it developed); treatment interventions and/or strategies; summary of the population (e.g., age, gender, race, cultural factors, settings, symptoms, diagnoses) the theory may or may not be effective with and why; and why you identify with it. The paper should be 5-6 pages in length (not including cover and reference
pages) and written in APA format (7th edition). An abstract page is not required and will not be graded or counted in the page total if included. At least four (4) reputable sources are required (i.e., textbook, journal articles, books / no websites unless approved by your instructor).
