Please focus on the following questions:
How or why does spirituality/contemplation lead to praxis?
How or why does praxis depend on a basis in spirituality/contemplation?
How or why should praxis then lead to further spiritual practices/deeper contemplation?
Even though I am asking you to focus on these questions, please do not skip the step of writing a clear thesis statement and introduction in your paperdo not just jump in to addressing the book or answering the questions.
You may (but do not have to) consider the following:
The three steps of “observe, judge, act” discussed by Paul Farmer (page 37).
The concept of conversion discussed by Gustavo Gutirrez in chapter 4 (pages 71-93).
You may bring any any part of the Farmer/Gutirrez book (inclunding the parts we haven’t gotten to yet in class).
Paper should be 4-5 pages.
