For the assigned week, the individual students in the assigned group will react to a quote that has more than one way to look at the issue. Some students might find the quote to be controversial or even disturbing. A forum post must be 500 words or less (not counting the reference list). A forum post longer than 500 words will have grade points deducted. For the forum post, students should pick one side of the issue or the other. In the forum post, students must defend your position with at least 3 external sources, data, or other validating support (reference list required). The response to the quote should be in a manner that is technical, non-emotional, and non-judgmental. Students who do not pick a side and write the forum post with the pros and cons of each side will have points deducted. Late work is not accepted.
