Each student is to choose at least one quotation from Dennis Covingtons Salvation on Sand Mountain: Snake Handling and Redemption in Southern Appalachia.
Students should reflect upon their selected quotation for at least 10+ complete sentences. Go far beyond mere summary of the ideas in the quotation, but also respond to these ideas. Students are encouraged to post responses that incorporate the folklore theory introduced in this week as well as in previous weeks. Responses should reach toward analysis
