Although the taboo subject matter of The Graduate is obvious (content), the film’s style (form) presents its subject material in unique ways. The era of the Hollywood Renaissance showcased the talents of many young directors influenced by European cinema. Describe how the film’s form differs from the Classic Hollywood films we have studied thus far in class.
