For this assignment, I want you to write a 2 page, APA style opinion paper. An opinion paper states a viewpoint on any psychological issue, subject, or theory and should include fully referenced citations.

I want to write about the fact that parental warmth, support, and concern are more important than overall parenting style, but it needs to be an opinion paper.

All of the references should be in support of my opinion.
Should be however long it takes to explain your position adequately, but the technical limits are roughly between 800-1500 words, or 2-3 pages, max.

Can be in the standard persuasive paper format:

Introduction
Is the subject appropriate, interesting, and adequately introduced?

Reasoning
Are there three (3) reasons discussed? Are they appropriate to the subject? Well explained and supported with sources?

Discussion
Is there a discussion section which brings all the reasoning together into one, cogent, argument? Is it well done? Logical? Appropriate to the subject matter?

Conclusion
Is the conclusion definitive, articulate, and reasoned?

References
Are there at least three (3) cited sources backing up the central argument of the paper?

Technicals
Is the paper generally free of spelling and grammar mistakes? Is the paper in APA format?
