An advisor has told you that a brilliant book, Leviathan , written by Thomas Hobbes, is just the thing to persuade Parliament and the people that you should be an absolute monarch. You should distribute this book to the nation and have the people and parliament to read it . They will be persuaded and will recognize that you should have absolute power .
After reading Leviathan yourself , do you think you should accept that advice or not ? Will Leviathan be good for your plans to gain absolute power or not ? Give your reasons why .
