The proposal is that our curriculum is a social response to a social and emotional regression as a result of the pandemic. During the time school was not in place children lost the ability to know social cues or respond appropriately to other children which results to fights and arguments. This curriculum will help foster relationships at school. The program will be in a group setting and will meet once a week for 4-6 weeks.
The proposal aims to support schools with reintegrating children into social spaces like classrooms, playgrounds, and the school cafeteria by teaching students the social and emotional skills to foster positive relationships with peers and faculty.
