Foreign policy crisis

I need a research proposal on the Crisis at Latin American borders and dehumanization of immigrants and asylum seekers and how does the US foreign policy affects it. You can use the following questions to assist guide you through the research proposal requirements, but please try to answer them completely throughout the proposal.

What is your hypothesis, theory?

Is this completely new work, are you filling a gap in the existing literature and research, or are you correcting what you perceive to be errors or misunderstanding of existing literature and research?

Define your terms and concepts. Are you discussing Inter-state, intra-state, complex military emergencies? How long is a war, how short, how many battle deaths? What constitutes participation in war, physical fighting, funding, profiteering, propagandizing? It is especially important to be thorough with this step.

What body of literature will you be engaging with? What are the short comings of this literature? In what ways do you see your proposal addressing these short comings?

What are the variables you will be working with? Which is the IV which the DV? What is the interaction effect between the two. Does a change in one create a qualitative or quantitative change in the other?

What data will you use? Will you be using an established data set, collecting your own data, interviews, textual,

Who is the audience that this is tailored to? Is it strictly an academic audience, or is this proposal more germane to a Brennan Center for Justice, or Southern Poverty Law center NGO internet researcher kind of audience? How will that change how you propose to go about your research and convey your hypothetical findings?

The proposal should be thoughtfully laid out with a clear and attention-grabbing abstract. The abstract should be followed by an introduction where you engage the first three items above. The definition of the terms and concepts should be a separate section of the paper. You should discuss how your definition of terms differs or shares with other accepted or contested definitions in the literature. The literature review should follow. The question of variables and data should come in yet another separate section where you directly address questions of the method. Please use reliable sources or peer reviewed journals, I will add two that should be looked at, and please include an annotate bibliography.
