You need to demonstrate that you know your subject very well and that you have researched what other credible sources say about your subject. Be sure that your evaluation is fair; a fair evaluation may acknowledge both strengths and weaknesses of your subject. Do, though, argue for your judgment, supplying effective reasons and strong evidence to support your position. You are expected to cite three outside sources in your paper, using APA style; you must provide a title page and an abstract preceding your paper and a References list at the end of your essay. Chapters 16 and 65 in NFG provide specific information about writing evaluation arguments; chapter 55 supplies information about using APA style correctly.
