Please read Into the Forest book by Rebecca Frankel. There are 2 questions you will need to answer. Each needs to be a full essay.
Here they are:
1) What event in the book stood out to you the most, and why? (Only discuss one, and give 3 reasons why it really impacted you!)
2) How did the families’ experience in the forest change them? (Give at least 3 different reasons)
Historical note: My father’s side of the family is Jewish, mostly from Ukraine, and we lost people in the Holocaust. Some survived though, and most of them went to Israel. My dad dealt with a lot of holocaust survivors and their children in his life, and he noted that more than anything, the people were survivors. They were tough, determined, and not afraid of anything, because they’d already seen the worst that could ever happen. Hopefully this will help as you answer the second question.
This is a book exam, so please don’t use any external sources. Since you’re only using 1 book, just put the page number in parentheses, i.e. (72) after any quote or information you use in your paper that comes from the book. You do not need a works cited page.
Keep your quotes to a minimum; 90% of the paper must be your own words and analysis. You may use 1 or 2 short (1 sentence) quotes to back up your argument.
