For this essay, identify a pseudoscientific subject within our culture that you feel should be viewed more skeptically. This will first require you to construct a definition of pseudoscience. After youve defined pseudoscience, determine the most effective method to convince your audience that the subject youve identified is indeed pseudoscientific and that it should be viewed more skeptically. You might also consider explaining what could happen if the audience doesnt view this subject skeptically. Requirements (All required items must be completed to receive a grade over a C):
Length: 4.5-5 pages minimum, typed, double-spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman font, 1 margins.
Integrate all quotes. No dropped quotes, please.
Remain in third person. First person plural might be acceptable.
Use the Classical Argument Structure and use an enthymeme in the intro as your thesis statement
DO NOT use simple dictionary definitions in this essay. Using a dictionary is far too elementary for college level writing. Specialized dictionaries might be okay.
