2. Read through the comments in each category and do the following for each. Below is the template for each of the 8 categories.

Category: Positive Experiences

1. Starter sentence – The following are statewide trends reported by survey participants of their positive experiences in the IEP and special education process:

2. Write 1-2 paragraphs that summarize: Feelings that the IEP team respected their input

3. Provide – 3-5 more bullet points for major trends

4. Write 1-3 narrative sentences that state: In general, comments outlined that . . . .

5. Provide Example Statements from Parents that support #4 in quotes bulleted.

6. Write about any Additional Positive Experiences from Parents

7. Write: In addition to the trends outlined above, parents also reported feeling of . . . (4-6 sentences that capture anything else you feel is relevant).

8. Repeat this process for each additional category.

9. In this report, exclude any names of parents, students, and school districts. In this report, include a Table of Contents page and Executive Summary.

10. Complete report in the format in an example report: https://dpi.wi.gov/sites/default/files/imce/sped/pdf/spp8-survey-report-2017-2019.pdf. See page 2 (Table of Contents) and pages 4-16.

The total report should be about 15 pages or so.
