Write a soliloquy of at least 15 lines for act 5 for a character from the play of Macbeth (this soliloquy must be original).
Consider:
At what point during the play are you writing this soliloquy for? (please state to the side during which part of the play you are writing this for)
What do you think this character is thinking/feeling/doing during this moment?
What do they know for sure and what do they suspect?
Use evidence from the play (what you already know about the character) to help inform your ideas as you write this soliloquy.
Expectations:
Your soliloquy is to be written as though your chosen character is speaking.
It needs to be a minimum of 15 lines long.
You are to use a minimum of 3 different literary devices and please highlight and state what they are.
Your soliloquy needs to demonstrate understanding of the character and the play.
Your character does not need to be present on stage during the moment you have chosen for this task.
This does not need to be written in Shakespeares style; however, it should be poetic in form.
Please indicate the moment from the play when your character is speaking at the top of the page.
*Please use this version of the play: Macbeth with Related Readings Nelson
