Write a research paper that presents an argument about the contemporary or historical importance of their topic (the topic should be about the social, political and economic consequences related to The Stamp Act 1765. Above all, your thesis should answer what historians sometimes call the so what? question. Demonstrate why others should care about your topic. You should accomplish three goals in your effort to answer this question.
– 1, explain the topic itself.
– 2, show how your topic is related to one or more major trends in the Age of Revolution.
– 3, evaluate the ways in which your topic is remembered today, why it is remembered the way it is, and whether it is understood correctly.
This paper must employ at least five sources, including three secondary and two primary sources. Two of the secondary sources must be valid scholarly sources other than course texts, and cannot be sources like encyclopedias, dictionaries, or Wikipedia and must be ACS cited.
