Write a research paper on how you can be Counseling Jewish AmericansDuring this class, we will be exploring specific cultures and appropriate counseling/school psychology concepts and strategies. You will be assigned to teach peers about the Counseling of Jewish Americans. Topics to be covered in your presentation:
Characteristics and strengths;
Specific challenges; and
Implications for clinical practice.
The presentation should cover material from the assigned readings and from our text, Counseling the Culturally Diverse Theory and Practice by Derald Sue and David Sue- Chapter 21; however, you will also need to incorporate other peer-reviewed literature into this presentation. In addition to assigned readings, 5 peer-reviewed sources are required for this presentation. The presentation must include a visual aid such as PowerPoint or Prezi. The presentation should be approximately 30 minutes long with an additional 15 minutes of discussion planned either throughout or at the end of the presentation. The presentation needs to be engaging and involve audience participation. The entire presentation should last at least 45 minutes. Students are encouraged to use a variety of multimedia methods and additional sources to produce a creative presentation. Please attach an APA formatted reference page that details the sources that are used in the presentation. Reference assigned readings in addition to outside, peer-reviewed sources. Please include an interesting video or some type of multimedia method related to subject within PowerPoint or Prezi, please. I uploaded pics of the chapter in the book, but need other peer-reviewed material included, also. Just make it as interesting and informative as possible. Thank you
