Write a persuasive essay that centres on a thesis with an argument that you develop from your research, your research questions, and your own ideas on this topic. Your essay must incorporate a minimum of 3 academic research sources. Note: the novel and/or short stories that you are writing about are not considered academic sources. This research will provide background to your argument and back up your assertions, but it should be used sparingly. Keep in mind that the bulk of the paper will be a close reading of the text(s) and should centre on your opinions and your words. Proofread your work before handing it in and follow the same formatting criteria from your first paper (double space, 12 pt. font, etc.)
