This is an additional comment from my professor….. For the hazard paper due next week, pick a hazard that you may be aware of in the workplace and include research about how frequently this hazard may occur (i.e., mean time between failures). Then discuss a range of potential severities from catastrophic to negligible and how they relate to this hazard.

After reading your bio, I see that you have a background in aviation as a flight attendant. I spent the first 15 years of my career working for the Federal Aviation Administration. My area of job focus was transport aircraft cabin fire safety. It is your choice what hazard you want to research but it would be really great to have a paper that includes an aviation-related hazard that you may have come across. Maybe something related to having to deal with an inflight incident or emergency of some kind.
