Why is it important to receive feedback on your writing and research?

Psychology researchers who submit manuscripts to journals or other publications often receive an outcome of “revise and resubmit.” To revise and resubmit a manuscript, or piece of writing, means to change the original content in ways that address the reviewer’s feedback and to resubmit it for a subsequent review or publication. In this course, you have submitted your literature review and method assignment and received feedback from your professor. You will revise and resubmit your work as part of the Unit 9 Assignment.

For this discussion, reflect on the “revise and resubmit” process.
