Which client do you think you would have the hardest time working with?

Create a presentation based on a documentary on Bellevue Hospital.
First, watch the film Faceless: Inside a Psychiatric Ward (Watched in Week Six) which follows some patients who have either voluntarily or non-voluntarily checked themselves in. Then choose one of the clients and prepare a presentation that will address the following areas:
Which client you chose and your rationale.
Include in this what the client’s diagnosis was provided (if known)
What about this client made you want to work with him or her?
Observations regarding the clinician working with the client
Did you notice any ethical or legal violations? If so, elaborate.
Did the clinician treat the clients with respect? Why or why not, meaning what about the interaction seemed respectful or disrespectful.
Treatment plan and goals
If this were your client what are some treatment goals, you would develop for them. Keep in mind they must be realistic. For example, if your patient does not have insurance, then sending him/her for biofeedback (which can be effective as a supplemental treatment for trauma) would not appropriate, due to the cost. If someone doesn’t have insurance they are unlikely to pay out of pocket for an extra treatment.
What format of notes would you use to document your interactions?
Which client do you think you would have the hardest time working with?
Identify one transferential issue that you might face when working with this client? Why?
Overall reactions to the documentary
Make sure your presentation connects your theory to your treatment plan and goals. Support your opinions with scholarly material from the course. A minimum of three scholarly sources are required.
Your presentation can be a PowerPoint or Prezi (minimum 10 slides) or an original video. Your slides should have between 100-150 words. But keep in mind that when preparing a presentation only the key points should be provided. Use the speaker notes to elaborate. Don’t forget to cite your sources!
Submit your assignment by Sunday at 11:59 PM EST.
