Organizational change is often inevitable as internal and external factors contribute to a shift in leadership, environment, policy, and/or procedure. According to Griffin, Phillips, and Gully (2020) change is a continuous process of business that involves problem solving, change agents, and transition management. Change agents are assigned to assess the degree to which change is having the desired effect, measuring progress towards goals for change (Griffin, Phillips, & Gully, 2020). Change agents work with many individuals, groups, and departments within an organization, holding an essential role in delegating effective problem solving (Griffin, Phillips, & Gully, 2020). When thinking about change agents and their vital organizational role, name one company that comes to mind that you feel has strong change agents. Why does this organization stand out amongst similar others? How are their employees working to facilitate positive change?
