Based on what you studied in chapters 9, 10, and 11, you should now have sound knowledge regarding your weight. Are you maintaining a healthy weight or do you need to lose or gain weight? What serious health problems are associated with excess body fat? Are you at risk for such problems? If you are overweight or obese, it goes without saying that your weight can negatively affect your health. How can you determine whether your body fat distribution is likely to cause health problems such as type 2 diabetes? Are there associated health risks with being underweight? What are the symptoms of possible health problems for individuals who are seriously underweight? If you are overweight or underweight, why? Be honest with yourself. What factors influence your eating? What steps can you take to lose (or gain) weight and then to maintain a healthy weight, especially having learned that weight loss, once achieved, is often difficult to maintain? In other words, what have you learned about a successful diet plan? That’s important. Keep in mind that even if you are at a good weight, you shouldn’t ignore expectations for nutritious eating. Address those questions in a brief esscixay of roughly 250-300 words.
