What “single story” do we have of Africa?

This is a two part assignment but each part requires a half page double spaced response.
Part 1: What “single story” do we have of Africa? This chapter discusses how stereotypes have prevented a true historical appreciation of African history. Think of Great Zimbabwe with its exquisite masonry technique of closely spacing the bricks as to not even need mortar, yet Europeans could not fathom this capital city had been created by Africans. Using Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s TED talk as a basis for what a “single story” is, state ONE thing from this unit that changed your vision of Africa.

Let’s pretend that Mansa Musa could have Tweeted during his life. What would he Tweet about his historical legacy? Feel free to be creative.
