What problems did it face and how did the owners address these problems?

Your Term Project (paper) must be no less than five pages (and no more than seven pages) of text in 12 pt font and double spaced.
You must also include a Cover (title) Page and a Works Cited Page, neither of which count as the five page requirement. Most of your research will be from newspaper (ON-LINE) sources. GOOGLE and YAHOO ARE NOT creditable sources!
PLAGIARISM OF ANY PART OF YOUR PAPER WILL RESULT IN A ZERO FOR THE ENTIRE PAPER.
The term paper constitutes 20% of your grade as noted in the Syllabus.
Your paper will be on the topic of Nassau Coliseum and will be divided into four parts as follows:
Part I – History of Nassau Coliseum – When was it built? By whom (owners)? Who/what were the tenants/main attractions? How was it financed? What were the physical characteristics?, etc.
Part II – Successes and Failures – What worked well? What didn’t? What problems did it face and how did the owners address these problems?
Part III – The decline of Nassau Coliseum – What caused the downfall of Nassau Coliseum? How did the owners try to save it? What were the different plans for the venue? Why did the owners finally give up?
Part IV – Nassau Coliseum Today – What is the function and form today? What are its characteristics? Who owns it now? What events/tenents use the facility? Is it successful today? What future plans are in store?
The questions above are merely a guide (suggestions) for your writing AND NOT the “be-all and end-all” of your paper.
