What is the role that women have played in the development of the Middle East from 1980s to 2000s.Women have played an essential role in the development of different countries across the globe. However, women are still subjugated to suppression in the workplace, politically, economically, and socially in the Middle East. They have still not given equal rights and opportunities as their counterparts men. This paper will examine the role women have played economically, politically, and socially to advance women’s rights in the Middle East from the 1980s to the 2000s.
