How does his work relate to our course materials, especially textbook Chapters 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9? What have you learned about gender, patriarchy and violence from this reading? Is toxic masculinity really a U.S. cultural norm? How do the three Grand Sociological Theories and/or Feminist Theory relate to Katz’s research? Do you see how gender, race, social class and age intersect? What can we all do to help correct these problems?
