(and I want you to use my definition for this question more than the popular version). You want to directly answer the question (s), not talk in circles, or simply express your feelings. His definition is: Rather, I like to engage in clear, organized, and logical debate that explores an issue from many sides in a pursuit of truth. This is what it means to argue, not to yell, say nasty things, or anything like that. True argument is a measured, reasoned response and an attempt to prove that yes, something is true.
