What do you believe needs to be done to mitigate (lessen) gang members and criminality?

Using the internet, generate information on any youth gang. Chapter #9 in your text Juvenile Delinquency defines and identifies our subject youth gangs. Place the link to the internet site you are using somewhere within your paper. Place a small amount of information on the gang such as location, members, ethnicity, etc. within the paper but you should focus on the following information. Why does the gang exist; influence or lack of influence from neighborhood, family, school, peer group, or is it the individual themselves who are making a conscious decision to join without influence from others? Why do youths belong to this gang (benefits). Gangs are a major problem for law enforcement. What do you believe needs to be done to mitigate (lessen) gang members and criminality? Should it be a function of law enforcement alone; or who else can help? (government, schools, parents, etc.) What do you see for the future concerning this issue? There are many issues or factors to take a look at and address within this essay. Feel free to move in any direction you wish and expand on this issue.
