Since it is a personal statement there are these two options:
Option 1. Tell us something meaningful about yourself that is not reflected in your application. You may choose to speak about your interests, aspirations and/or background.
Option 2. It is often said that the road to success is paved with setbacks. Tell us about a time you faced a challenge or obstacle. What did you learn from it, and how did it contribute to your success?
Some ideas for the personal statement from me:
-I have been volunteering to tutor at a tutorial center for 1-8 grade students and they helped become confident since before I had very bad anxiety to the point I would miss school so that I would not have to present in front of the class. Now, however, I am starting my own club at my school, I have made many friends, and can speak in from of a room filled with people.
-I grew up living with grandparents and my grandfather had strokes, open heart surgery, lung cancer. So we would be at hospital a lot. I would see nurses working so hard and that inspired me.
You can make stuff up about the me in the personal statement. Just dont write about immigration, self pity, or cliche things please. I believe you already knew that though. I believe in you and please do not dissappoint me.
