Read chapters 1-5 and begin to learn about the value and challenges to each renewable resource.

Your essay of 4-5 pages should answer all of the following questions and should be supported by text and outside reading. Please research 4-5 sources (from academic or trade journals) that will add breadth and support to your discussion. The EPA website and other NGOs (i.e. non-government) are good places to start.
Use the following questions to provide an outline for your essay. Remember to blend your responses into a cohesive essay; do not answer each question separately.
Briefly define what is meant by renewable resources.
Decide which resource is more important than others in your opinion and make your case for your choice. By the way, you must make a choice of one resource.

Assignment Instructions
The intent of the written assignment is to provide an opportunity to more fully analyze marketing theories and techniques, discussed in the textbook and other sources. Do not focus on the companys history and do not retell the case, as it wont give you any points. The main goal of your essay is to demonstrate that you have gained a solid understanding of the marketing mix and how it can be used to reach the strategic goals of the company.

Be sure to cite the textbook and other sources correctly, so that your academic integrity is not called into question. Your assignment is expected to be 1750-2,000 words (5-6 pages, 12 point font, 1.5 line spacing) and should include an annotated bibliography. The essay should be well written and organized, in the proper format (APA), using proper sentence structure and spellchecked.
