I worked as a program coordinator for an organization for refugees for around 7-8 months. it was jumpstart refugee talent, under welcome talent Canada(WTC). you can check the link https://jumpstartrefugee.ca/programs/wtc/

I am international student in Canada. I am originally from India. I have ancestral ties to Afghanistan.
My work was mainly to call and follow up with refugees and their mentor to check on their progress. Solve issues of theirs, if refugees need other help connect them with organization that would help and have good reputation. my other work was to held exit interviews for both refugees and mentor about their mentorship and to take their feedback, collect data on same and see how this program could improve.

I am doing my masters in public policy and administration. My future plan – long term is to be a policy analyst. short term to work with NGOs
