For this week’s assignment, I would like for you to create a PowerPoint presentation discussing the importance of leveraging technology in an HR department. Research various HR platforms that you think are beneficial. What talent does one need on the team for implementation? How much does this software cost? What are the strategic goals and objectives for this purchase? What are the pros and cons of this product? How do we measure the success? An organization is only as good as its technology. Try reaching out to some vendors to find out more about their products. For example, look at the products Gideon Taylor offers to its clients, or perhaps PeopleSoft or Work Day. Don’t use these companies as your example, but I wanted to give you something to review. Your goal is to convince me as head of HR to purchase this software. Remember your proposal should include costs, outcomes and how the software purchased will assist the organization in fulfilling its mission and strategic priorities.
