Please watch the documentary This is What Democracy Looks Like and answer the following questions:
What types of power do you recognize? (Per Chapter 1,4, 11, 17, 18 or any others)?
What are the specific issues that the people are protesting about?
What are their concerns/interests?
What other observations can you make about the “Battle in Seattle”? What surprised you about this protest? How does it relate to the recent BLM protests?
Do you see any similarities between the issues in the video and what people are protesting over in todays political arena? Please respond to at least two of your classmates.
