What are the reasons behind the Indian independence movement?

The task is to write a report on The Indian Independence Movement.
Part to include:
1. Thesis statement and research questions:
Formulate a thesis statement about the conflict based on the following research questions.
What are the reasons behind the Indian independence movement?
What are the main events of the Indian independence movement?
Is the Indian independence movement over or still current nowadays? (how is it still current in today’s society?)

2. Background
Some background information/introduction about the conflict.

3. Results (main part)
Here the research questions should be answered by using relevant sources, where the results section should be divided in three main parts (part per question).

4. Conclusion
A summary of what the report has come to/ sentences to end the report.

5. List of sources used

OBS! notice that the background and conclusion part should be at the same length, while results is the main part (a longer part).
