Research the history of your community. How has it changed over the past 5, 10, 20 years? Note: if you are new to your current community, you may choose the one in which you grew up. While doing this research, first consider where you plan to find the resources you need for this information, you will need to cite your research. Your research should include changes to the demographics, government structure (city manager, council, public safety, etc, access to education, access to healthcare, transportation (public transit, airports) access to social services (food banks, homeless shelters), etc.
Additionally, describe your community. Is it urban, suburban, rural, or something else? What are the major concerns of your community and how do you feel these are being addressed.
