RESPONSES DO NOT MERGE THEM WITH THE OTHER RESPONSES
1a) Hi Class,
What are the essential human resources management practices identified in the textbook?
The essential human resources management practices are:
1. Attracting a quality workforcetalent acquisition through human resource planning, employee recruitment, and employee selection.
2. Developing a quality workforcetalent development through employee onboarding and orientation, training and development, and performance management.
3. Maintaining a quality workforcetalent retention through career development, worklife balance, compensation and benefits, retention and turnover, and labormanagement relations.
(Uhl-Bien, et al., 2021, chap. 20.1, para. 1).
How do each of these areas contribute to the success of an organization?
Attracting a quality workforce – Employee are hired and they go through several steps to see if they are the right fit for the company. Management must select the ones that they feel will fit and then they must contact them and offer the position which is the recruit. This must be hard for the management team because they have to prove they are hiring those fit for the job, this will either break or elevate the place of business
Developing a quality workforceTraining the new hire for the job is especially important no matter how skilled their resume appears. Each area and field as a certain way thing in to get done. For example, new nursing home hires need to learn the job of patient care and medicine. Making sure their quality of care is pleasing to the families is something that will contribute greatly to the business.
Maintaining a quality workforce This is to assist the new hires in moving up within the ladder, teaching them the importance of balancing their homelife to business life. As in making sure they are trained for climbing up the corporate ladder, and that the employee understands the importance of having family support like childcare. That an employee may do their job with a few call outs. This will help the business to move forward. During the reopening of stores after the shutdown due to Covid in 2020. Stores struggled to remain open because no one wanted to come into work. The schools were not fully open, therefore for many issues came that arouse from this came from childcare being shut down as well.
Have a Blessed Day,
Matthew

2a) Hello,
The essential human resources management practices are:
Attracting a quality workforcetalent and employee recruitment, and the key to employee selection. This is the very first because this is the start of the relationship between employee and management. When the employee is hired, they go through several steps. Management must select the ones that they feel “fit”, then they must contact them and offer the position which is the recruit. This must be hard for the management team because they must prove they are hiring those fit for the job, this will either break or elevate the place of business
Developing a quality workforce employee onboarding and orientation, training. Next training the new hire for the job is especially important no matter how skilled their resume seems. Each area and field as a certain way thing in to get done. For example, new nursing home hires need to learn the job of patient care and medicine. Making sure their quality of care is pleasing to the families is something that will contribute greatly to the business.
finally, maintaining a quality workforcetalent retention through career development, compensation and benefits, and labor management relations. This is to assist the new hires in moving up within the ladder, teaching them the importance of balancing their home life to business life. As in making sure they are trained for climbing up the corporate, that they understand the importance of having family support like childcare so, they may do their jobs with very little call outs.
Respectfully,
Moe

3a) Good morning, Dr. J and class, the essential human resources management practices identified in the textbook is a process of attracting, developing and maintaining, (Uhl-Bien, et al., 2021).
1. Attracting a quality workforcetalent acquisition through human resource planning, employee recruitment, and employee selection.
2. Developing a quality workforcetalent development through employee onboarding and orientation, training and development, and performance management.
3. Maintaining a quality workforcetalent retention through career development, worklife balance, compensation and benefits, retention and turnover, and labormanagement relations, (Uhl-Bien, et al., 2021).
For example, a marketing manager from IDEO, a consulting firm, states, If you hire the right people if youve got the right fit then everything will take care of itself. This is saying if you find an individual that fits the qualifications of the job then that person is well suited for this job. Another example I would like to use is if the local school district hires a teacher for a job that has been advertised and meets the qualifications then that individual uses the knowledge, skill, characteristic and experience if any for that course. Its best for the organization and the individual when both fits are strong and positive, (Uhl-Bien, et al., 2021).
