Requirements:
This article critique should include the following:
the structure for a critique provided in the Boston University School of Public Health Writing Guide should be used;
the critique should be written from a neutral, third person point of view without personal pronouns including: “I” “me” “my” “mine” “you” “your” “yours” “our”
the critique should be no more than one page;
APA format should be used for spacing and margins, but no title page or abstract is required, instead, a heading of your name, the class, and the date should be in the left corner of the page;
one quote that is properly cited using APA format should be used;
at least one sentence should contain paraphrased information that is properly cited using APA format; and
an APA formatted Reference of the article is at the end of the critique.
Assessment:
The article critique will be assessed using the following criteria:
The article critique uses the structure established in the Boston University School of Public Health Writing Guide;
The article critique clearly summarizes and critiques the article using information from the article to support the summary and critique;
The article critique uses correct APA formatting as required by the assignment; and
The article critique uses conventional paragraph and sentence structure, and there are few errors in grammar.
Failure to use APA format or the structure for a critique in the Boston University School of Public Health Writing Guide will result in a failing grade.
