Use of literature (this refers to the number and quality of sources used)
Creativity, innovativeness and thinking out of the box

SPECIFIC ASSESSMENT CRITERIA:

Students will be assessed on the following criteria:
Identification of resilience mechanisms
Application of theory
Ability to present the companys supply chain.
Critical ability to make recommendations (This refers to your ability to present a coherent evaluation and select appropriate materials to support your arguments).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION:

Your task is to identify (i.e. by doing your own research) a global company in need of supply chain resilience strategies and to propose a resilience plan for that specific company based on the following guidelines:

Guidelines:

Guideline 1: You need to solve the challenge of understanding the supply chain resilience mechanisms (under economic, social and environmental indicators) needed by your chosen company. You will do this through the following stages:

3.1 Literature review in general about supply chain resilience mechanisms (under economic, social and environmental indicators) to understand what this has to deal with. Here you need to think broadly. Think what your chosen company requires in order to maintain continuity in their operations (and what can go wrong) and all the supply chain stages involved and direct the literature review towards your focus.
3.2 Overview on your company and their business context
3.3 Overview on the entire supply chain of that company
3.4 Overview on the supply chain resilience mechanisms (under economic, social and environmental indicators) for the entire logistical/supply chain life cycle related to the chosen company. Here you need to identify which indicators (economic, social or environmental) are used by your company while trying to achieve resilience and mitigate any disruptions.
3.5 Critical discussion and suggestions on how your chosen company can improve the supply chain resilience mechanisms (under economic, social and environmental indicators) try to find for example what other companies with similar supply chains do, or try to identify supply chain resilience boosters under the three types of indicators. In any case all your statements must be supported by proper references).

Guideline 2: You can personalize your report with your own group consultancy company brand to make it look as a consultancy report.

Guideline 3: Emphasis must be given on critical analysis and discussion.

Review of literature References
The analysis should be based on a literature review of papers published in academic journals and practitioners journals, as well as on electronic sources that have been agreed with the lecturer.
Students are expected to have a minimum of 15 references, with a minimum of 10 from academic journals.

The final work should be a typed hardbound work of 1500 words.
