Type 3 hypersensitivity is also mediated by IgG or IgM. In type 3 hypersensitivity responses, immune complexes are
not formed on cell surfaces (or basement membranes), but circulate in body fluids prior to getting trapped in tissue spaces.
If the complexes form and are trapped more quickly than they can be cleared, the resulting inflammatory response will
