TOPIC

Homelessness is a very complex issue because the over-policing of the homeless leads to these populations remaining homeless instead of successfully getting off of the streets. At the same time no policing has been shown to result in rampant crime and dangerous drug use.

HYPOTHESIS

My hypothesis for this subject will be that police departments would benefit from having specialized forces to deal with homeless populations in conjunction with social workers.
